Software setup doesn't start

Posted by Aurelien Cosma at March 17. 2009

I've downloaded both RiskAnalytics (0.2) and Reserving (0.3.2) softwares, and I can't get the setup procedure to start properly. When I use the Windows installer (both under Windows 2000 and Windows XP), a box appears, showing "Extracting...", and when the extracting percentage comes to 100%, the box disappears, and nothing else happens.

When I try it on another PC, on which an archive program is installed (such as IZarc), the result is quite the same, but a window showing the content of an archive opens up (nothing more...).

I've also tried with the ".jar" file, but I can't use it. I can just open it as an archive, but I don't find any useful file in this archive.

Thanks for reporting the issue. We know this problem from other users, however it doesn't occur on every pc. Last week I tested a new installer version and another user who has reported the same issue that this solved the problem on his machine.

We plan to release a new version early in April, which should fix your issue and address the compilation issue that some users reported.
