What about a user documentation ?
Up to Software
I am interested by PillarOne.Reserving and PillarOne.RiskAnalytics but haven't found
any documentation which explain how it works.
Thanks by advance for your answers.
I have found flash presentations.
For Reserving :
http://www.pillarone.org/screencasts/usage-of-basic-reserving-tool-features
For RiskAnalytics :
http://www.pillarone.org/screencasts/introduction-to-pillarone.riskanalytics
My question stays valid : is there a writen functional documentation for users ?
Thanks.
We are currently working on a written user documentation for RiskAnalytics. Some of the prinicips are already described in the How to section of the Help Center. In the next week we will add a reference manual describing the basic features of the main components.
The reserving documentation will follow as soon as we will focus on the next version 0.4 most probably in Summer.

The general comments below apply to Reserving and RiskAnalytics. But only for RiskAnalytics we will soon release what I am talking about. The next major release of Reserving will come this summer and will contain the same support.
What do you mean by "functional documentation"? For which target audience?
- A description of how to use the application
The flash demos cover some of the usage; not all. There are much more features than we currently show in the flash demos. We will add more flash demos as most people quickly see how to use the application once they have seen a flash demo.
But I agree that there should somewhere be a short list of the functional features. - A description of the actuarial content?
The context sensitive help will cover some of this. The contents of these help sections will be available on pillarone.org

Thank you for your answers. When you say "next week" do you mean week 14 (from 03/30) ?
Is a french version planned ?
Best regards

I mean by "functional", the business view, the profession approach.
I imagine that the audience could be Project ownership assistance (AMOA in french) and also the Project ownership (business user or end user).
I agree that flash demos are interesting. Perhaps, it would be helpful to create a pdf document of the demos which could be printed.

Yes, the context sensitive help would be very usefull, especialy for beginners (with the possibility to desactivate it if needed).
I understand that PillarOne is dedicated to professionals with strong risk management background but may be it would be interesting to include informations that could allow new comers to enter in that business field.
All of that is said with the only aim of a positive participation.

Unfortunately we didn't success to release the documentation together
with the new version of RiskAnalytics. Only the screencast hast been
updated so far. We plan to release version 0.3.1 by the end of April
and this version should contain documentation. The technical feature is
already available (I should create a demo screencast
in version 0.3 but content still needs to be written.
Is a french version planned?
The used technology stack for the software and the website allow multilingual documents. We will start with an English version. Personally we currently don't have the resources ourselves to write a French version in the near future too.
