Business Logic

  • The recently released GIRA model has been extended with calendar views allowing to display the premium and reserve risk for Solvency II.
  • Furthermore there is a new possibility to structure a reinsurance program with the introduction of virtual contracts. Their results are ignored in segments and legal entity views.

Application

In order to improve performance the number of resulting figures needed to be persisted has been reduced. Especially in multi period models the produced data amount has a high impact on simulation runtime. It's worth to carefully select the result template to avoid unnecessary results.

Introducing the comparison of nested table allows now a complete comparison of parameterizations and results.

So far the KTI version included the grid computing solution. In 1.5 two major new features have been added. They are not yet fully tested and your feedback is very much apreciated.

  • Visual Builder allowing an application user to create new models without writing code. Simply drag and drop already existing basic components from a palette to a dashboard, contect them, create a test parameterization and run single iterations for testing. Once the model is ready for production, deploy it to the well-known 'runtime-environment'.
There is a first screencast explaining the basic functionality. More screencasts will follow. Furthermore there is a presentation from the last community event explaining the underlying concepts.
  • Custom tables allowing the user to arrange results according his own needs. Spreadsheet cells can be connected to the database and basic formula support is provided.
